Sophomore Ellis Salahuddin scored a game-high 22 points and made several key free throws down the stretch to key Serra High's boys basketball team to their second consecutive CIF-Southern Section Division IVAA final against La Verne Lutheran by ousting Encino Crespi, 74-62, last Friday at Serra. Salahuddin is a transfer from Pasadena High. The Cavaliers will be seeking their second consecutive Southern Section Division IVAA crown and seventh overall when they face La Verne Lutheran, a 63-59 upset winner over nationally-ranked Torrance Bishop Montgomery, Saturday at noon at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena.
