It’s that time of the year again when volunteers, both individuals and in groups, will join forces to clean up Gardena. The 17th annual Keep Gardena Beautiful Day is planned for 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 17.

Volunteers will put their talent to work and make a difference by cleaning up City parks, right of ways and neighborhoods.

“We will plant flowers, pain and do minor fix-ups,” said Ledra Sanchez
Administrative Management Analyst, who organizes the mass cleanup.
