Kinecta donates to senior bureau

Credit union gives $2,500 in support of Gardena programs

As part of its commitment to the advancement and strengthening of the communities it serves, Kinecta Federal Credit Union presented the Gardena Senior Citizens Bureau with a donation of $2,500 in a check presentation ceremony held at Kinecta Gardena Branch on Friday, June 3. The ceremony was led by Mary Yasui-Yamabe, Kinecta Board Chair Director; Mayor Tasha Cerda, City of Gardena; Stephany Santin, City of Gardena’s Recreation and Human Services Director; and Chi Tran, City of Gardena’s Sr. Citizens Bureau representative. “At Kinecta, we are committed to the advancement and strengthening of the communities we serve,” said Latrice McGlothin, Executive Director, Kinecta Community Foundation. “Today we are honored to be partnering with the Gardena Citizens Bureau to help enhance Gardena seniors’ quality of life and enable them to maintain their independence. Programs helped include the Senior Citizens Day Care Center.
