On the evening of Saturday, October 5, a vehicular crash in Gardena involving a bus resulted in the death of a motorcyclist, identified as 54-year-old Moreno Valley resident Ernest Ridgle.
According to a report on CBS News, the incident occurred at approximately 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of Western Avenue and 139th Street, as stated by the Gardena Police Department.
“Investigators say that the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Western when they rear-ended a bus and then crash into another car driving on the road,” reads the report. “The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No other people involved in the crash reported injuries.”
