Services are held each year to reconfirm the community’s commitment to peace and unity in the World and to honor those who have served in all actions and to aid in the efforts. The services were first held in 1972 at the dedication of the War Memorial, which identifies deceased veterans from the Gardena area, who sacrificed their lives for our country.
