Taco Revolution caters to everyone

We’re doing something a little bit different this week. Earlier in the year, we attended the State of the City, which took place on the evening of Thursday, March 12 at the brand new and still sparkling Community Aquatic and Senior Center.

It was catered by Taco Revolution, and when we covered the event at the time, we mentioned that a review would be forthcoming. This is unusual for the GVN, because Taco Revolution isn’t a restaurant–they specialize in event catering. That said, it’s not uncommon for members of the public to need catering for weddings, birthdays, or various other family events. That’s where Taco Revolution can help.

Based in Southern California, Taco Revolution proudly serves events Nationwide,” they say. “We are fully licensed and insured, and a deposit is required to secure your event date. Travel fees apply based on mileage. To elevate your experience, we also offer plate and utensil rentals as an upgrade to any of our menus. Let Taco Revolution turn your event into a flavorful experience your guests will never forget.”

This is Mexican food, which is generally great in Los Angeles anyway. But the presentation is so immaculate, the rotation so fresh, that it feels like you’re experiencing something very special indeed.

“Taco Revolution offers premium taco catering with exceptional service and beautiful presentation. We specialize in weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings, delivering fresh, high quality food and a professional experience your guests will love from setup to last bite. 50 guest minimum required.”

The quality is exemplary. The tacos are somehow warm and soft, and also readily available. Nothing is dry and tough, which could be forgivable given the fact that the food has to sit out momentarily.

Maybe the best item available is the mini ceviche – stunning, clear cups of the chilled seafood salad, each one offering just a few bites which is the perfect amount in this setting.

It’s so fresh and refreshing, which is brave and important considering the fact that it was a warm evening in Southern California, and the seafood was sitting out. Thankfully, it was so good that the cups were quickly snatched up.

The mini shrimp tostadas were crispy and delicious, while the fruit cups were vibrant. Everything was great, quite frankly. The staff, too, were friendly and helpful. If you have an event coming up, we can’t recommend them highly enough.
