Serra High pitcher David Laurenti was the winning pitcher in last Saturday's non-league baseball doubleheader nightcap against Dorsey. Laurenti allowed one run on four hits in the Cavaliers' 8-3 victory over the Dons, who were last year's CIF-Los Angeles City Section Division II champions. The Cavaliers also won the first game 13-1. Serra, in fact, won all four games that included those in the St. Paul Tournament over L.A. City Section Marine League rivals Carson and Banning. The Cavaliers visit Alemany in Mission Hills in the Harvard-Westlake Tournament Saturday at 11 a.m. before returning to the Del Rey League at home against St. Paul from Santa Fe Springs next Tuesday.
