Stephen Thompson Jr. had 25 points, five assists and five steals to key Bishop Montgomery High's boys' basketball team to a 71-59 win over Cathedral in a consolation CIF-Southern Section Open Division playoff game last Friday. The Knights played St. John Bosco from Bellflower in effort to stay alive in the playoffs and seek a spot in the California State playoffs that begin next week.
