On Wednesday, April 17 at approximately 9:19 a.m., the Gardena Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Pacific Lutheran High School in the City of Gardena.
“Officers from the Gardena Police Department responded to the school and conducted a thorough search, finding that all students and staff were accounted for and that the threat was untrue,” reads a statement from the police. “Investigators determined the call to be a case of police swatting. School safety is paramount, and the Gardena Police Department is continuing to work with the school administration to make sure that the school safety protocols are strong and intact.”
