“Today, McCoy II serves as a logistics specialist responsible for operating financial accounting systems and managing inventories of repair parts and general supplies that support ships, squadrons and shore-based activities,” the Navy said.
McCoy is highly decorated, having received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for various achievements throughout his career a total of eight times.
“These awards are a culmination of my unwavering devotion to duty and my junior sailors helping them reach their goals both professionally and personally,” said McCoy II.
The statement concludes by saying that, “According to Navy officials, C2F reestablished in 2018 in response to the changing global security environment, develops and employs maritime forces ready to fight across multiple domains in the Atlantic and Arctic to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.”
