The City of Gardena has a number of events planned for the coming months, including two this week.
On Thursday, September 11, the City will host the 24th Anniversary 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony.
“Join us for a commemoration ceremony to pay tribute to those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001,” the City says.
The event will take place at 9 a.m., on the City Hall Lawn, at 1700 W. 162nd St., Gardena 90247.
Two days later, on Saturday, September 13, the City Hall Complex will be the venue for Gardena’s 95th Anniversary Celebration. That will include five new inductees on the Gardena Wall of Fame.
