GVN Athlete of the Week, April 10

Serra High's Ronald Freeman made back-to-back three-point baskets down the stretch to lead the Blue team to a 112-106 win over the Red squad in last Thursday's South Bay All-Star Boys' Basketball Classic at South Torrance High. Freeman helped the Cavaliers to the Del Rey League co-championship with eventual California State Division IV champion Torrance Bishop Montgomery, the Open Division of the CIF-Southern Section playoffs, and the semifinals of the Southern California Division IV playoffs where it fell to the rival Knights.
