Bishop Montgomery sophomore forward Jordan Schakel led the team with 19 points as the Knights captured the CIF-Southern Section Open Division championship with a 56-50 win over Etiwanda last Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Bishop Montgomery entered the Southern California Regional Open Division playoffs as the top seed as it hosts St. Augustine from San Diego in the quarterfinals Friday at 7 p.m.
