GVN Athlete of the Week, March 13

Caila Hailey led Serra High's girls' basketball team with 26 points in the Lady Cavaliers' 67-54 loss to host Etiwanda in the CIF-Southern Section Open Division championship quarterfinals on Feb. 26. The Lady Cavaliers, though, will enter the Southern California Regional Division IV playoffs as the top seed. Serra has a first round bye and will begin in the quarterfinals at home on Saturday at 7 p.m. against either No. 8 Lindsay from the CIF-Central Section Division IV or No. 9 Fairmont Prep from Anaheim.
