Serra High sophomore pitcher Cardinal Fernandezees makes the kick as he delivers to an Oaks Christian batter in last Saturday's Harvard-Westlake Tournament baseball game. Fernandezees hurled a one-hitter and gave up one unearned run as the Cavaliers edged the Lions 2-1. Fernandezees was an all-Del Rey League pitcher as a freshman last season keying Serra to a co-league title with eventual CIF-Southern Section Division III champion Bishop Amat from La Puente.
