St. Anthony Seniors Club Installation

Photo by Eleanor Bersano The St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church’s Senior Citizen Club had its Officer Installation — the first since the pandemic started,on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at its new meeting toom at 164th and New Hampshire Blvd. Seated from left are Joann Kennelly, Ken Helm, Bobbie Bonner, Monsignor Sal Pilato and Alex Basallo. The Seniors were honored to be joined by the Pastor of St. Anthony’s, Monsignor Sal Pilato, who was invited by member Rosie Navarro, the current events chair. The Club had many things to celebrate: The Installation, a celebratory luncheon, Happy Heart’s Month, two February birthdays, Elena Basallo and Elaine Bersano and a new member, Lucy Remonde. Former President Eleanor Bersano and Former 2nd VP/Chaplain Elaine Bersano worked together to install the officers. “It was a joy-filled time for all; a time of lively conversation, good Christian fellowship and a delicious repast. The Senior Club hopes for good health and a rewarding 2022 for all members and the GVN Editor, Staff, and readers,” said Eleanor Bersano.
