North Torrance girls under 19 goalkeeper Arianna Armijo made three critical saves in the penalty kick phase of last Sunday's National American Youth Soccer Organization Games championship game against Okeeheelee, Fla. at Columbia Park, which is also home of the North Torrance AYSO. After a scoreless tie at regulation, North defeated Okeeheelee, 3-1, for the title. Armijo is entering her junior year at North Torrance High and will begin her second season as the Saxons' goalkeeper in the prep season that starts in late November.
