•  A female juvenile who was carried into a park restroom, said she was molested by two male juveniles.

The victim told Gardena police that she was acquainted with the suspects, and before they carried her to the restroom, they took her sweater and would not give it back.

•  A female juvenile who was carried into a park restroom, said she was molested by two male juveniles.

The victim told Gardena police that she was acquainted with the suspects, and before they carried her to the restroom, they took her sweater and would not give it back.

The victim also said she tried to grab a chain-linked fence to keep from being dragged to the restroom. As she was held captive inside the restroom and fondled, the victim said she asked help from two other male juveniles who happened to look inside the bathroom. But they ignored her pleas and left.

After being fondled by both suspects, the victim said they finally allowed her to go free.

• A suspect armed with a semiautomatic handgun robbed a grocery store of cash. The suspect ordered the night manager to a safe in back of the business.

• A victim had her gold chain ripped from her neck by a male suspect.

162000 block of South Western Avenue

• A business woman was scammed out of $27,000 by a man, who spoke in an African accent, and sought help in finding churches in Gardena.

The victim told Gardena police that the suspect was loitering outside of her business. When she inquired what he was doing, the victim was told that the man was searching for area churches.

He told her that he was to distribute thousands of dollars to churches. But since he was from out of the area, he would need help.

The victim initially drove the man to a nearby church. Then the suspect gained the trust of the woman and showed her bundles of money.

To demonstrate that she could be trusted to help deliver money to churches, the victim withdrew money from her bank. A third suspect entered the picture.

In the end, the suspect instructed the victim to leave her money with him and then circle the block. By the time she returned, the suspect was gone with her cash.

• A male suspect reportedly loaded up a cart with plates, chips, juices and meat, then proceeded out of the store without paying for the items.

• The residence was found ransacked, but nothing appeared to be stolen. A bedroom window was pried open as the point of entry, police noted.
