The Los Angeles Dodgers Revival of Baseball in the Inner Cities softball team captured the Western Regional championship by downing the Anaheim Angels 7-2 in the final last Sunday at Cal State Long Beach.

The Dodgers were led by El Camino College all-American Diamond Lewis. Lewis had two hits and drove in two runs. Lewis helped the Warriors advance to the Southern California Super Regionals this past season.

Jessica Robledo was the winning pitcher, going the distance giving up two earned runs to the Angels. Robledo also had two runs batted in.

With the regional crown, L.A. moves on to the World Series in Minneapolis, Minn., which will be played from Aug. 11-16.
